E3 Farms needed a web presence that matched the seriousness of what they're building — a platform connecting small-scale farmers to supply chains, soil data, and buyers. The brief was simple: fast, clean, trustworthy.
What Was Built
A marketing and information site built on Next.js and Tailwind CSS. The emphasis was on speed (Core Web Vitals in the green), clear hierarchy for non-technical users, and a design language that felt modern without being alienating to farmers accessing it on mid-range Android devices.
Decisions That Mattered
Mobile-first wasn't a checkbox — it was the design constraint. A significant portion of the target users are accessing the web on phones with variable connectivity. Every page was designed for that context first, then scaled up for desktop.
The copy strategy was deliberate: no jargon, concrete language, information architecture that gets users to what they need in two taps.
Outcome
Live. Used by the team daily. The foundation for the v2 farmer mobile app currently in development.
